Not Too Soon to Prepare for H-1B Season

USCIS begins accepting applications for fiscal year 2011 on April 1, 2010. Because of changes in the manner in which prevailing wage determinations are obtained, it is not too soon to begin preparing H-1B petitions. Under the old system, prevailing wage determinations (PWD) could be obtained in a matter of minutes. Under the new system, the PWD could take a week or longer--and that is before the last minute rush of applications.
