DHS Proposes Extended TN Visa

The Department of Homeland Security has proposed extending the maximum validity of the Trade NAFTA (TN) visa from one year to three years. Extensions would also be granted in three-year increments. The extension would eliminate some pressure from the H-1B program quotas. The TN visa is a professional employment visa for citizens of Canada and Mexico.
